After a long conversation , BMW finally introduced their newest compact coupe , BMW Series 2 . The cars are divided into two types namely the BMW 228i and M235i .
Naming this car - Series 2 - a continuation of BMW's naming strategy which made for an odd number while the four-door sedan with even numbers for the two-door version . It's made so that consumers are not confused .
BMW 2 Series comes with two types namely 228i , a premium subcompact with two doors , four seats and rear wheel drive . There are 2 versions of the series also more violent with label M235i .
Although BMW call it a subcompact car car body is 2.8 inches longer and 1.8 inches wider than the 1 Series coupe .
For there the heart with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that is able to show the power up to 240 hp which is channeled through an 8- speed automatic transmission . With this engine , the car can go from rest to 100 km / h in just 5.4 seconds .
As for the power it contains M235i achieve 322 horsepower from a six -cylinder engine that can accelerate to 100 km / h in just 4.8 seconds .
